Well here we are starting a brand new year. Pastor Tom gave us a New Year’s Day sermon on Sunday about spending our time wisely. So may I wish you all a very Happy New Year and one in which we will all try to put our time to good use, worshiping God, spreading His Word, and being kind to our neighbours.
BIBLE STUDY GROUPS
The men’s bible study group will restart 8 January, meeting as usual in the Lions’ Den at 2pm.
The women’s bible study group will restart 8 January at 6.30pm also in the Lions' Den (Note: This is a change of venue).
TUESDAY PRAYER GROUP
Will be meeting at 7.30am 3 January in the home of David and Ruth Gould, 2096 Aberdeen Drive, Agassiz, 604 751 5598/604 751 5597.
GROUND ZERO
There will be a meeting of Ground Zero at the home of Dan and ViviAn Sluys on Saturday 7 January from 7-8.30pm.
YOUNG ADULTS
Will start again on 8 January 2012 in the home of Pete and Sharon Wiehler at 7.30 pm, 1883 Caroline Drive, Agassiz, 604 796 3845.
CARE GROUPS
The care group at Mark and Sonia Gross’s home will restart 10 January, 4536 Lougheed Highway, Agassiz, 604 796 2066.
The care group at Andy and Marlene Wouda’s home will restart January 23, 5877 Limbert Road, Agassiz, 604 796 9875.
LIBRARY
We have a great selection of books for all ages and tastes, stop by on your way in or out of church.
MEN'S BREAKFAST
Next men’s breakfast will be 9am, Saturday 7 January 2012 at Jacks and the following one on Saturday 21 Jan 2012.
LADIES' LUNCH
The next Ladies lunch will be on Monday 9 January2012. All ladies welcome.
CHILDREN NURSERY
Available for children under 3 yrs in the room at the back of the church.
CHILDREN'S CHURCH
Takes place during the sermon. There are two age groups, 3yrs to Grades 3, and Grades 4-6. All go first to Children’s Church and then later split up into their own classes.
PRAYER REQUESTS
Please pray for Mike Nelson’s father who has been admitted to the hospital.
Pray for Mary Putt’s granddaughter, Lilee Jean and her parents Chelsea Whittle and Andrew Putt and the rest of the family.

PRAYER CHAIN
Mary Putt and Joanne Cook run the Prayer Chain. Prayer requests can be sent to them to be passed on down the chain. This way in a very short space of time, you have a body of people all praying together about the problem. All prayer requests are kept confidential within the prayer chain.
