Our Session
Mountainview is governed by the pastor and elders, who form the church session.  Ours is a Presbyterian form of government, drawn from the apostle Paul's instructions in 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1 and elsewhere.  The word Presbyterian is drawn from the biblical Greek word presbyter, or elder.

Our Deacons
Deacons assist the session and serve the church and community, especially in providing ministries of mercy.

Mike began attending Mountainview Community Church in 2000.  That's where he met his lovely and talented wife Willie (yes, Willie Nelson), who has been a member since 1996.  Mike and Willie have been married since 2002 and live in Agassiz.  Together they have three daughters.  They enjoy camping with the kids.

Dave Neufeld

Elder
Dave and his wife Anita have been attending Mountainview together since 2000. Dave and his brother are partners working in the ornamental and fruit tree nursery trade. They also own and operate a specialty hardwood sawmill. Dave and Anita live on a farm in Agassiz with their 3 children, Wiltosso, Wilclair and Rebecca.
